 In-Line Oil Thermostat for Oil Cooler
This is a thermostatically controlled valve designed to regulate oil flow through an oil cooler. When oil is cool, oil is applied equally to both the inlet and outlet which prevents oil flow through the coolers core. As the temperature rises the valve closes allowing oil to flow through the cooler. This valve ensures full oil flow to the source regardless of whether the valve is open or closed. The cooler also remains full of oil at all times eliminating pressure variations, aeration and the foaming of oil. Source oil pressure and flow rates are not affected by the use of this thermostat.
